To all those who

… come to India looking for spiritual solace, I laugh in your face.  I was woken up this morning at 5:30 am by religious music BLASTING from the loudspeakers of the temple down the street from my grandparents’ house on the outskirts of Trivandrum. Apparently, this happens every day here. Here and EVERYWHERE ELSE in this country.

Ha! Perhaps it is. I upgraded as soon as I got a speedy internet connection at home… The old blog was pretty sad looking, and created in 2006 when I was last in India. How’s Ghana? I’m still depending on you to give me a reason to visit.

Apparently that was a joint decision taken by the colony mates to have a public alarm clock. Atleast they wont miss the train, bus, flight, or wont be late to work you see.

The music is religious and, after all, it is an alarm clock. A religious alarm clock?.?.?.
